Drawing with watercolor pencils is my favorite way to draw.
I’m an artist that likes lots of color, so I draw and sketch with watercolor pencils.
Landscapes are a favorite to draw and paint. If I’m working on location, I just need to get my watercolor pencils, water, brushes and paper towels and I’m set to sketch, record colors of the landscape, and make a mass color notan to be used when I’m in the studio.
My set of watercolor pencils is fairly small, a Derwent metal box with 36 pencils. But in this set there are all the colors needed to depict the scene before me.
