The Artist Speaks
Today is “go with the flow” Friday. Lots of items to cross off of my to do list. But, I want to paint. So how do I just go with the flow?
First I’ll prioritize my to do list.
Since I’m showing at the “Art at the Lake” fine art show, I need to paint at least a couple more paintings.
And, since I’ve been working in my garden this week, replanting daylilies and iris, my painting today will be of a back lit row of beautiful Atlanta by Candlelight lilies.
To be sure that I go with the flow, I will leave the painting for a little while, come back and check to see if it is still with the plan. While I’m away from the easel, the second most important item will be taken care of. I may need to answer e-mails, write the Tuesday Morning Extras or Valle of Yellow Creek Art Studio E-Zine. This continues through out the day and makes a go with the flow day.
