On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, Gainesville, GA artist, Ellene Breedlove Davis, will interview nationally known watercolor artist Jane R. Hofstetter. The interview will be broadcast as a teleconference at 7pm.
Jane is the author of “The 7 keys to Great Paintings”. An award-winning artist and workshop instructor, she has been painting and teaching for more than 25 years. Her art studies have been at University of California-Berkeley and Los Angeles’ Chouinar Art Institute. Currently she teaches watercolor workshops throughout the United States and Europe. Jane’s work is represented by Christopher Queen Galleries in northern California. Her work has appeared in Watercolor Magic and International Artist magazines, The Collected Best of Watercolor (Rockport Publishers, 2002) and North Light’s Splash series.
She will tell us how to apply these 7 Keys for a beautiful, eye-catching painting every time, whatever your subject matter or medium.
Jane will also talk about the problem-solving exercises, technique tips, step-by-step demonstrations and more that she has included in her book.
