Since I’m working on the watercolor table, I’ll take the time to organize tubes of paint by color. Usually there are paint in five baskets.  Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Neutral colors. Also, the watercolor brushes need sorting.  There are flats, and rounds, large, medium and small, these are separated into the same categories.  Stored with the handle down after they are dry.

Reference materials need to be organized also.  Photo boxes are set out and categorized.  Florals, Hay Fields, Roads, Clouds, Old Houses, Old Churches etc… are just some of the categories that are used so I can easily find the photos when planning a painting.

How do you organize your workspace?  Whether it’s painting, sewing, crocheting or any of the numerous other creative activities available.

I would love to hear your story of organization.

Cordially,

Ellene
